Luke did an awesome job with redoing my drip line system. He’s work is spot on and he knows his stuff. A top notch bloke to work with too, highly recommended.
FAQ

Good question. Firstly, many reticulation repair companies charge a call out and charge per hour. We are far from being the only company doing this. The most honest answer is that often reticulation has been devalued by people doing cheap quotes and poor-quality work. Anyone can install it as it’s not a registered trade and this has resulted in a very large amount of extremely substandard reticulation systems in Perth. Charging by the hour means that we can spend the time needed on a project to complete the work properly and not cut corners. Unfortunately, we live in a world where time is money and reticulation can take a lot of time up, talking about it, looking at it, and diagnosing it. Charging for our time means we can put our heart and soul into each job for you, but also means we are compensated for our time.
We work hard to also set ourselves apart and run a different type of business. For example, we are not really in the ‘irrigation game’. We are in the ‘make your lawn and garden beautiful, green, and healthy game’. There is a big difference.
If you do a bit of research, typically the range for a reticulation contractor that knows what they are doing and has all the tools and parts is normally $70 per hour to $200 per hour. That’s a pretty big range hey! You may be left thinking, what in the name of retic is going on?
There is also a large range in not only the quality of work, but also the quality of the advice and customer service. While I’m sure that a cheaper provider does not always mean poorer quality work, you know how it goes. Your cheapest quote can end up costing you dearly. You get what you pay for. Again, this is not always guaranteed. People also pay good money for poor work all the time which leads me to my next point.
The most important thing you can do is find someone you can trust who will do a good job and who is right for you. Do you just need a basic service and few heads changed? Well get a mid-level provider. Need a more boutique business to help you? Reach out and find someone who aligns with what you want but make sure they are trustworthy, have a good track record, and will deliver for you.
After all, price is what you pay but value is what you get. We seek to add value in everything we do.
One thing I know for sure is that a very large proportion of irrigation systems in WA are very poorly installed and we have over 20 years expertise, are passionate about what we do, and will do the job properly.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. People use us because they want to.
We specialise in overhauling/renovating reticulation systems and don’t do urgent or very small repairs. If we were to do urgent smaller repairs, we would spend all our time doing this and wouldn’t have the time to dedicate to our renovations. Not only that, but it would be very disruptive from a planning perspective and for our clients having to fit lots of urgent repairs in while we are completing projects already pre-booked well in advance. There are lots of businesses out there already who do this type of work.

What our clients have to say
Luke is extremely focused on quality and not cutting corners, something that is rare in the retic industry! Luke has done work at my properties over the years and has great knowledge and attention to detail. I definitely recommend him as someone to trust with your reticulation system, if you’re looking for a lasting water-wise solution. Thanks again mate
Found Luke on FB, the information provided on his page really is a true reflection of him. Once we made contact, he worked together with us on several proposals, and we agreed on the one that best fit our budget. We were pleasantly surprised when the final invoice was much less than the initial quote. Communication was always prompt and clear. He even put us in touch with other specialists to get the pump and controller replaced. He is a genuine down to earth guy with a wealth of knowledge which he happily shares. He works really hard and his passion shines through. He is a true professional. We had fun watching him make his slow motion video at the end of the day. Thank you so much Luke.
After putting up with issues created from a landscaper for too long I engaged Luke to address my suffering lawn and help with bringing it back to life.
Was more than impressed with his knowledge and problem solving as he moved about my yard.
Thanks again for the work Luke!

After years of mending our reticulation as amateurs, without ever having the success of keeping all areas of our large garden looking fabulous, we finally called in the experts. Retic Renovation exceeded our greatest hopes for lawn redemption. The owner Luke was prompt in meeting with us and in an unbelievably short time, found the all important retic isolation valve that in years of digging had never been located. Luke investigated all sections of the reticulation, repaired all faults, and tidied up all areas that had been worked on. To finish, Luke provided us with helpful advice and recommendations for keeping our reticulation spot on. We cannot recommend Retic Renovation more highly.
If you’re looking for a precise job, with the experience to back it up, Luke is the person in Perth to contact. He’s passionate about making beautiful gardens in Perth for families to enjoy.
