This Lesmurdie garden renovation took place over time and involved a combination of new planting, improving the existing garden, and bringing lawns and gardens back to life.
The first step was upgrading the reticulation system to waterwise MP Rotators for the lawns while also servicing the rest of the existing system. We also installed new reticulation in certain areas to ensure full coverage.
We enriched the soil with high-quality Green Life Soil and planted fruit trees—just look at how vibrant and healthy the fig trees are! These figs tasted better than any figs I’ve ever had in my life. We re mulched a lot of the garden as well with a composting mulch.
The lawns were top-dressed, fertilised, and treated with soil wetters and other nutrients, resulting in lush, healthy growth. In the rear yard, we installed Village Green Kikuyu lawn, ensuring it was well-established.
We also created a veggie patch using quality Green Life Soil and planted a stunning crape myrtle tree, which is now flowering beautifully.
This project proves that with the right soil, fertiliser, water, maintenance, and upgrades, almost any garden can be revived. Even the humble agapanthus is absolutely blooming!
This was a large property, and we are very happy with the results—the lawns and garden are thriving!
